update.
just a short update to catch up:
Living in Auburn for the summer, rooming with my sister, plus Venus and Helen.
Currently dog/house sitting for Julio, but that ends today or tomorrow (?).
Taking 2 summer classes for a Public Health minor:
- Intro. to Epidemiology (study of disease transmission and prevention in a population)
- Global and Comparative Health Systems (learning about the health system here and in other countries.. it’s blowing my mind)
Volunteering at:
- All Creatures Vet Clinic
- Lee County Humane Society
- Cattle research project with Dr. Brandebourg (I LOVE COWS!)
Working in my lab (RNA extractions up the wazoo)
Trying to get tan
Working out!! (I’ve been running and swimming a lot and it’s going great.)
Studying for the GRE (july 18th)
Applying to vet school
AND Katie and I are going to be fostering kittens and puppies starting tomorrow :)
Jess and Hil, you two are the only ones I know of that will ever read this and I miss you both SO MUCH so hopefully I can keep track of your exciting lives and you can feel connected to my lame one even though we’re so far away!! JULY 16th!!! LOVE Y’ALL :)
